Can anyone recommend a good dog kennel? One where they aren't kept in a small cage for hours on end. Really reluctant to put him in one so will go anywhere to get a good one.

We send our dogs to Pet World in NT. They love dogs there and we take our dogs there to swim on a weekly basis. Their kennels are clean, spacious, and air conditioned! For a bit extra, you can give them swim time while they are away. Pet World also send you pictures / videos of them on a daily basis so you know that they are in good hands. I can't recommend them enough!

Dear all - I retract from what I had posted earlier. Please visit kennels by yourself to ensure that the place suits your pets.
Ed may have Ferndale as an advertising client - But I do not and can say as a dog owner (3) I would not trust anyone else with my guys unless I had to. Our vet recomended Ferndale and I have to say that were very good.
Hi other advise, let them pick up the dog, have a whisky and then enjoy your holiday!
Hate to say he was right (still missed them every day though ;)
Kennel van dego in Sai Kung is ok. a bit rustic, but dogs have quite large semi-outdoor kennel areas.
Thanks everyone - we are pitting him in Pet World as it was also recommended by our vet. Been to have a look and they definately love dogs there!
