TIPS/HELP on Finding apt to lease which allows dogs?

Hi everyone,


I am finding it extremely difficult to find an apartment to lease which allows dogs.


Does anyone have any tips on Agents to use, areas to focus on?


Ideally, we are looking around the midlevels area, or Sheung Wan. Our budget is 'ok' being <40K...DiscoBay and Islands are out (due to the humans getting sea sick). We need a balcony (small one is fine) or rooftop.


Dog is a dream. Loves people, house trained and fully trained. She is an Aussie - Rottie cross Labrador. Sleeps all day. Has been living in apartments in Macau for the last 3 years.

Good luck with this! I also had the same problem and ended up movong to Sai Kung. The other place that also seemed to have more understanding pet friendly landlords was Happy Valley and on your budget you should get a decent place there.

Hi Andrew :O)) Caribbean Coast in Tung Chung is pet friendly has a nice doggie park and a lots of space for dogs to walk..35 min to central incl. walk to MTR the rents go for 1200 sf around 20 000 incl. check their forum out caribbean coast.org you can find some apartments there without agent fee direct from owner ..also gumtree hk has some..Other options pet friendly are Sorrento, silversea dont know the prices there though and HK Goldcoast (rent through Sino developer directly) is also ok for dogs in the beachhouses around 45000 and estates around it are also dog friendly..they have shuttel bus to central or public transport quite good too..Tai Po Beverly Hills/Casa Marina is also pet friendly you can rent through the developer..CHi residences serviced apartments in Sheung Wan also allow pets..Hope this helps :)
