Quick question on human vacation

How do you make your young dog (1 year old) understands that you are just going on a short vacation and will always come back for her?

Our little doggie stops playing with her friends (she is extremely friendly) while we're gone and doesn't even want to go out. And when she goes out, she just wants to come home (and hope to see us there). Fortunately her appetite is fine.

I know most dog owners have this problem at one point or another but it breaks our hearts to hear about it upon our return!

Talk to your dog, mumbling around its ears with your holding hand with a striking smile and look at its eyes, not only ONCE!

Practice few times of leaving her home from few hours to more each time. Make sure you act calm everytime u leave and return. Don't show too much affection a calm 'Bye' and 'Hello' will do. Over affection when you leave and return only make her more nervous without you around. also you may leave your unwashed clothes on her bed with your scent so she feels secure. Good Luck! -Ally (Facebook: 'Ally Pet Services')
