There is a stigma due to the similar name to other dogs.

Hi Fitnick ,yes I know a little about Trylou ..just the white and blue patches stafford that is in their website I think , I remember that was imported from England ,a breeder called Jo Bale not sure .Obviosly the importation of a pup from Australia will result more expensive and I think that must wait a month for required vacinations and papers before it's ok for breeder sending the dog to you ,but by another way in Australia you have many more blood lines a variety of staffords, and different prices for you than in HK. I only knew about Marqualis Kennel in HK apart of Joe Yiu breeder who own staffod called "Three Star".... I don't know more pure ,Kennel Club registered staffords in HK.But you easy have the change to visit these dogs in HK for having a look on their stock and see personally how healthy and good temperament they are true? Sando, Australia is on the list of country's that require no quarantine as long as the vaccinations are in order. These are country's in which rabies has been eradicated.
No long now and our beautiful blue pup will be with us!

Yes you are right Australia is free of rabies the same as ENgland ,but if I'm going to import a dog from UK ,rabies vaccination and certificate one month later inoculation is needed to import a dog from UK to my country for example ,last year I was going to import one from Aus ,and was required full vaccinations and pappers from Aussie breeder before sending the dog to my country... I don't know what is required to import a dog in Hong Kong .. By another way I wish you the best of luck with you new blue staffie pup !!! Blue color is less seen in Staffies than in American Staffs , I have seen many blues in American staffs and Pits . Actually I advice to everyone that is going to buy a staffie that ask to the breeder if both parents of the pups are Tested -Clear of L2HGA and HC,these are two healthy problems of genetical origin that sadly appears in our breed with carriers indibiduals detected in different countries .Send me a private e-mail if you want to continues talking about staffies and photos . I surprissed myself when I visited Hong Kong Dog Rescue website and I saw "Flower" story and photos !as I thought that the staffie is not a popular breed in Hong Kong ... I would not see one in HK rescue looking for forever home ! But here is "Flower" who recently was rescued and fortunatelly found a new home yet.. Looks like a Staffy cross but i agree, they are rare here. I have seen 2 in 4 years living in HK. A few American staffys around the place though. Glad Flower found a home, if she is your typical Stafy that is one lucky family.

Hey Nick ... as I told you in another e-mail I only know of two breeders in HK that are owners of Pure breed staffords ,Kennel Club registered , it's the same if Flower is or is not a Pure staffie ... the fact is that we can see staffie blood in her and she was very lucky that a family with children love her a lot now!!! I hope the same good luck for the bulldogs and the two bull terriers that I could see in the Rescue too !..pour British Bulldogs..I've read that they were rescued from a Puppy Pedler..these dogs must suffer a lot with the hot weather in HK. Nick ...will be your staffie pup your first Bull type breed or you had experience with strong breeds before ? ..
