Hi,
a while ago, a lady was giving away her kittens and I wanted to adopt one. I bought everything for the new kitten but the lady changed her mind. I still want to adopt a kitten and I cant adopt from a shelter because they don't give kittens to people living in public estates, but my building allows pets. If anyone has a kitten to give out for adoption, it would be great if you could let me know.

Have you tried your local vets? They often have kittens needing homes- if you're on HK island, 9 Lives in Aberdeen Street would be a good place to start.

I'm in the same situation as the OP - I want to adopt a kitten/cat, but I live in public housing that allows pets.
I've checked vet clinics around where I live, none have kittens needing homes.
I'm really hoping to find a kitten by or before Christmas.
What can I do now?

I have been to the HKACW website and read the adoption requirements.
It doesn't say whether they allow people living in public housing to adopt from them.
Also, they said you have to have window screens installed, but I very rarely open my windows. Would I still have to have them?
