Things to do with my dog?

- There are lots and lots of trails you can take him/her in the country parks. My dog loves running in the woods. Just make sure you spray and check for ticks.

- Tiny beach on the promenade between Repulse Bay and Deep Water Bay.

- Most other beaches don't allow dogs, but in winter (when the lifeguards aren't around) Shek O and Big Wave are dog friendly.

- Dog run in front of SPCA in Wan Chai.

- Whiskers and Paws shop in Horizon Plaza has a dog playground on their big terrace.

You should go to a hiking store like Protrek and get the "Countryside" series maps. They shows all the trails. Also, ask your neighbors. Some trails don't start very obviously, for example from Repulse Bay.

A group of us are starting a dog friendly (and we mean friendly, as we sometimes have more than 10 dogs) weekly group, to different places on HK Island. Reply to my email if interested in joining. Always a good time for humans and canines both.
