Hope that you all saw the article today re the closure of the Pokfulam HKDR base! They HAVE to move in three weeks. They do such a great job looking after the unwanted dogs of HK. There is a walk on Sunday from Peak to LKF. Please do what ever you can to support them, every cent will help. Log on to their web site to see what good work they do!!!! Support is needed

The news is awful, but expected... hopefully an extension can be made. The date of eviction is the 28th of February, so they have 3 months to find a new location or get all the dogs into homes. I know that if the time comes and dogs need to be put into temporary homes, I will definitley be there to lend a hand. I just hope that everyone else does too... Out of the 8million ppl in HK, if only 200 families were to adopt 1 dog from HKDR, it would be fantastic!!

HKDR is organizing a series of fund raising to help raise the much needed money for the new kennels. They have to start from stractch this time. There is no water, power...at the new site at the moment. Building all means they need lots of money.
