Taking a Cat on the CKS Ferry

I was told by the ferry people in Zhuhai that I could take my cat on the CKS Ferry. When I talked to the people in Hong Kong from the same company they said no!


Does anyone have any experience taking animals to Zhuhai?

Are you relocating your cat permanently to Zhuhai or you just want to take it for a short while?


If you take the cat into Zhuhai it has to go through quarantine for a few months before you bring it back to HK.


Relocating pets to the mainland is quite straightforward in theory but in practice you get told different things by different people that you speak to - possibly what is happening in this case.

I'm moving it permanently to Zhuhai. I have all of the paperwork, health certificate and rabies antibodies test. That's all that I need except for definite permission to get on the ferry!!
