Hi there,

there are a few things you need to do before you can become a good Mandarin speaker.

1. environment: you need to find a really good environment to practise your Mandarin Chinese such as : at work, at school, or living in Mainland North China (accents are different)

2. yourself: you self need to use it as much as poosible, anywhere, anytime, with anyone, do not feel shy!

3. collect new words: always holding a dictionary at your hand, go find any unformiliar words from what you hear, what you see , go look it up on a dictionary and use it, in this way, I assure you you will keep it in your heart for good.

4. practise, practise, practise: wherever you go, practise it , learning a language is all about practise.

With above mentioned, I assume you learning Mandarin Chinese will be a fun thing to do .

Now get your books ready, time to learn : yi, er, san ... for a better future!
