Hi Suem,
Perhaps I could be of help. I have been tutoring my son until he went to boarding school for Year 9 this September. Since he now studies overseas, I am open to assist children from international schools.
Finding the right teacher is a challenge indeed, we have gone through a few ourselves until I decide to take on the task myself. It really takes patience and dedication to identify what is holding the child back and to come up with an approach that tackles the problem.
I teach the Singapore and British Math syllabus, and I hope my experience through my own child, and through the eyes of a parent-tutor, can help yours overcome her difficulties.
My son has studied in the top (and academically most demanding) international schools in Hong Kong, and is now with one of the highly reputable boarding schools in the UK. I used to hold director positions with worldwide communication companies in Hong Kong and Asia, but my passion lies in working with children as it is very fulfilling to see them progress and flourish.
I speak fluent English and Cantonese, please feel free to call or Whatsapp me on 98466903 to discuss. I am happy to learn more about your daughter and share my thoughts.

Hello Suem,
I am glad you posted this, because this is something children go though all the time. Last year I tutored several students in math, who were failing and brought their grades significantly up.
I have got some wonderful testimonials on my website that you can listen to.
My site is at www.MathAndScience.guru
Please email me or call or text me at 9133 2424. I am looking forward to helping your child,
Many thanks and best wishes
Manu
