Piano Lessons — classical / pop / singing

Hi. My 5 yr old son is starting to show interest in classical music and piano. He even asked me if he could take piano lessons. So my hubby and I are now searching for a reputable Piano School for kids. Unfortunately, most of the schools are using Chinese language as a medium of instruction. Can anyone recommend/advise where my child can take up piano lessons preferrably in Med-Levels West? Would appreciate all your input on this. Thank You.

Parson Music. They have branches all over HK and you can ask for an English Instructor. My daughter is a student and her lessons are conducted in Eng.

Hi there,

If you haven't already found anyone, I would be happy to teach your son! I have just re-located to Hong Kong from London and though I am principally a cello teacher, I also teach piano. Do you have a piano? If so I could come to your house. If you send me your email address I can forward you my CV. My email is: rosie@millimills.co.uk.

Best wishes,

Rosie

Hi Rosie- thanks for your reply. Unfortunately, we don't have a piano. We thought of sending our son to a school where he can learn to play the piano and see how keen is he in pursuing this interest.

Thanks for your offer though.

If one MUST take piano lessons from a "school" , Tom Lee's Instructors, lessons, the environment, the pianos and management are MUCH superior to Parsons' Music.

A very good studio I know is

www.pda-chamber.com

I don't know them personally, but their students were taking a lot of prizes in a competition that I attended last year.
