My daughter will turn 2 in a couple of months, and so far she has only be taken care of at home by my helper, myself and my husband. She is not going to any playgroup, but is meeting with little friends in the neighborhood every day and is very sociable with kids and also adults.
I am now looking for a day care center where she could spend a couple of hours 2 or 3 times/week, on her own ie not accompanied by me or our helper, ideally in a Chinese/Cantonese speaking environment (we are French and she mostly speak English), and in Central/Mid-Levels area
Am looking for something quite flexible ie not everyday and not too much 'preschool'. In France children are often looked after in 'creches' from a very young age and this is the kind of structure I have in mind. I would like my daughter to get out of her 'comfort zone' and to have to meet and follow guidance from other people than the familiar faces.
Any suggestion ?

In Hong Kong, there aren't a lot of Creches availalbe. I know that most local nurseries will take babes starting at 2 years, but as you said it's not the type of environment you're looking for. In Causeway bay, Po Leung Kuk has a Creche. It's a very local environment, but you can check it out. Hope it helps.
