School advise

My son is 4 1/2 and due to be starting Primary 1 in September. I am fine with my child having to attend a bigger school etc etc what is really bothering me is the hours. All the schools I have looked into seem to school primary one from 8:30 - 3 or 3:30pm. I personally feel that this is too long a day for my child and I feel like taking his entire every week day for schooling at this young age is taking away from his childhood. Where I come from children up to the age of 8 are still only attending from 8 until 12 each day.

Does anyone know of an alternative ? I dont want him to fall too far behind but I am desperately looking for a primary one type level of schooling which also allows time still to do kids things in the afternoon, or just be home for a few active hours a day.

Any advise would be greatly appreciated . thx

There are local schools who offer half day classes. You wouldn't be getting your money's worth if int'l schools only taught half day for the fees they charge now would you?

Try Lingnam Kidergarten in Stubbs road. We purposely chose the afternoon sesion and was from 12 to 4 including travel time.
