Playgroup for ITALIAN CHILDREN

My husband is Italian and always speaks Italian to our 11 month old son Nicolò. We could be interested in getting together with other Italian parents and their kids. What's the best way to do this? Maybe meet at someone's house on a weekend and alternate? We live in Happy Valley.

I would be interested as well. My husband is Italian and my son (22 months) is exposed to English, Italian and German.

Hi Delia71,

If you wish your children to learn Italian there is also the school "A.Manzoni" that has a playing group for small children. The children there are all Italian or half Italian. You can find the contact details on the Italian Consulate website. There you will find also the contact details for Italian Women Association. Anyone speaking Italian is welcome. Please keep in mind that in the meetings we will ONLY speak Italian, since it is for this reason that we meet!

Ciao

Stefania

Hi there,

I came across your thread after trying to find a playgroup for my little boy. He's now 7 months and I would love for him to mix with a few more Italian kiddies. If there is a group already started we'd love to join, otherwise, if anyone is interested in a get-together please let me know.

Ciao, Theresa
