Kindergarten - Private Company

Is it unreasonable of me to ask to see the accounts (P&L and balance sheet) of a kindergarten that is also a Private Company? As it is an educational establishment, I want to ensure that it not making an obsene profit, but I also appreciate if I am not happy I could send my child to any other school.

To be honest would you walk into Park'n'Shop and ask the same thing? What do you think the answer would be? Yes it is unreasonable, it's a private Kindy and it's their business and not yours what the accounts are!

I have to agree, with evil there. Private establishments make profit-it is a buisness plain and simple and they probably are making an obscene profit.

Find a "Non profit" organisation-it may suit you better.

OK. I come from an era in the UK when education was free and when the government used to provide grants to university students. I guess I need to get used to schools as businesses.
