I am looking for an English and Mathematics tutor for my child who is studying Year 7 at Island School (ESF). Tutor should be experienced and familiar with Island School / ESF curriculum. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Hey I just graduated College with an IB diploma and was at an ESF school from P1 through to year 11 where i then moved to boarding school. If you're still looking for a tutor send me a message!

My son has just finished his IB and he is predicted to score 45 out of 45. He was formally in an ESF school. Let me know if you are interested

Since when a good student equates to a good tutor/teacher?
If he is that good then we wouldn't need to study further for teacher's qualification!

Hi. I'm a qualified teacher and not interested in tutoring, but just want to comment on the last posting. When I was in high school, I had a tutor who was a year older than me who tutored me and he did a great job. It depends on the subject. The young tutor may not have the maturity of an actual teacher, but some high school students or graduates make great tutors.

Thank you, notyou for your kind comments. babswymak - you do not need to be so rude and sarcastic. Doesn't mean a teacher's qualification automatically makes you a good teacher. Like what not you states, it also depends on the subject. I know of many teachers who cannot compete with students on theri ICT skills. What do you have to say to that?

Hi,
Does anyone can be refer a native English speaking teacher to my child, he is studying in local school. I need a teacher who is already teaching in HK local school and would like to come to my house once of twice a week. Majority for teaching English listening skills, oral, writing and comprehension.
