PGDE from HKIEd Hong Kong

I have BA from UBC Vancouver and am presently doing a PGDE at the HKIed Tai Po - for primary school.

I am working as a TA at an International school and doing the diploma part time. Does anyone know if this PGDE will be recognised in UK, Canada and Australia. Think I may be wasting my time I would like to teach internationally.

Thanks for the advice. I can't believe a BEd is required to teach 6 year olds. HKU does not offer a PGDE for Primary school teachers and the English program at HKIed is very limited - more emphasis on teaching English as a second language, rather than teaching methods, lesson planning etc. . All very frustrating. Does experience count for anthing in Australia?
