My wife and I are proud parents of a 6 month old baby boy. Both my wife and I are origianlly from Taiwan, but I spent my entire childhood and most of my adult life in the US. We are looking for good play groups or pre-schools conducted in English and Mandarin. I hear that play groups and pre-schools in HK have long wait-list and am wondering if anyone has any recommendations or advice.
I guess my questions are:
(1) At what age should we start my son in play groups?
(2) We live in One SilverSea in Kowloon, any suggestions of play groups or pre-schools in Kowloon I should be looking into? or HK Island.
Appreciate any help or insight on this. Thanks.

1. It depends on you. I didn't send my daughter to playgroup until she was nearly one. I would think at least wait until your son is more mobile in terms of crawling and walking.
2. There are so many kinds of playgroups available it again, depends on what you're looking for. For example, just for a play, to socialize, to 'learn' etc.....
Yew Chung and Tutor Time in Kowloon Tong does their kindergarten classes in English and Mandarin. PIPS near Kowloon station too.
with HK Island, you have so many more options available, but are you willgin to have ur son travel so far for school?
