Hi
I have made a decision to send my child (Australia), 3.5 years old, to a local Catholic school instead of the other options. She is learning Chinese and English in preparation for this.
I would like to send her to a reputable school on HK Island, ideally 15-20 mins from Central. Does anyone has suggestions?
I am seeking a school that
*caters to local and expats who can read/write Chinese to the level required
*has some cultural diversity
*isnt to full on with homework. Sure there will be homework but not a school that is knows for loads of homework
*a school that appreciates sports as well as arts and academics.
I have researched and have found a few but would like to hear from Expats that have sent their kids to the locals (i.e. REAL LIKE EXPERIENCES) rather than comments if ok.
Many thanks in advance for your help!

Thanks for this everyone.
Tequila1 - are you a westerner? What is the mix of kids in the school? 80 - 20 %?
The reason I ask, I want my daughter to go to a Catholic / Christian school which is supportive of western kids going through the local system and learning to read and write Chinese.
Carla - when you say extremely difficult to get into? How do you recommend preparing my daughter? She is 3.5 years old.
Many thanks.
