Brainteaser - English names that sound Chinese

Trying to think of names that sound almost identical in English and Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) and that make sense.

The best I have come up with so far is:

Lee Kitchen (English name) = Lee Kit-chen (Canto name)

Unfortunately I found out Kit-chen/possibly Kit-chun is a female ming so it doesn't match the male English name.

Another one that might work is:

Guy Carson = Gai Ka-sun

Apparently the Chinese version makes sense but the ming is not very natural.

As you can see we are limited to monosyllabic first names in English that sound like Chinese xing, and English surnames of two syllables that sound like Chinese ming!

Let me know your ideas!

One for a Spaniard!

Juan Julio (Spanish) = Huang Hu-liu (Mandarin)

Not sure about that ming though...

Sorry, to clarify - xing is pinyin in Mandarin for surname; ming means familiar name. So in the name Hu Jintao, Hu = surname/xing, Jintao = familiar name/ming.

So he is politely called 'Mr Hu', and known to friends as 'my dear Jintao'.
