Teaching English/US Citizen

I'm interested in teaching English in Hong Kong next year and need advice on the application procedure and necessity of a TEFL certificate. I have a Bachelor's Degree in English, a Master's Degree in Secondary Education, and a Professional Teaching Certificate from my state. I've taught at the collegiate level and high school level for approximately 2 years, and now I work for ETS scoring the TOEIC, TOEFL Jr, and GRE exams. Do I still need a TEFL certificate, and if so, would an online certificate suffice?

Are you from the states? Have you checked out any of the International job fairs? I know they do big ones in Ohio, and San Francisco...

You can also google International Schools in Hong Kong. Many different ones should pop up and you can go on the website to see what they are hiring for. Even if the positions open are not in your subject areas, apply anyways- or put an email in to open the door. Start networking now, if you are interested in finding something for the 2013-14 school year. Many International schools hire in Jan.

Yes, I'm a native US Citizen. I've not checked out any job fairs yet. I was wondering about the necessity of having a TEFL certificate. I could go ahead and start working on that, if needed, so I'd at least be able to offer this additional qualification as being in process when I apply. I will go ahead and start applying though, as you suggest. Thank you.
