We are looking at moving to HK next year. We are trying to look realistically at a descent school we can get out kids into (year 6 and 4). We can live anywhere and will make that decision based on the school they get into. We want a school that will ideally give them a good education, will be fun, and have ok facilities. Right now the top realistic choices in our mind are Kellett, Hong Kong Academy and Hong Lok Yuen/ICHK. Just looking for any general feedback on what peoples general thoughts are on these schools, how they compare and what our chances are at obtaining placement. Thanks in advance for any information.

All good schools but would call ASAP to put them on lists and do tours, then see what you can get. Also British or IB-curriculum ...

It will be more a case of which school has a place, rather than which school you prefer. The chance of being offered all three is very slim, and you must get on the waiting lists ASAP.
Good luck!

You'll be living in the Clearwater Bay area?
I'd say you have a decent chance at those schools, depending on when next year you'll be arriving.
Get your applications in now. It's impossible to make a judgement on your chances, I"m afraid.
I'd suggest applying for ESF too, plus the new Nord Anglia opening in Sept 2014 (only until YR8).

I'm a very happy ESF parent. The IB pop curriculum they follow is global with good academic strands and good links to personal and social development. Clearwater bay esf is a good school from what I hear. harrow school is near you, brand new and have heard good report, English system.
Good luck with it all.
