Anyone interested in starting a Playgroup for babies? My baby is 4 months old & we live in Kennedy town.

I will be a mother soon... but sometime it really scare me that a 4 months baby need to go playgroup?? may I ask why?
are you a working mom, therefore you can't play with your kid? or you just too rich that you need to spend money anyway?
I am just from a average family, working myself, after baby born, I won't be hiring any helper as well. I can just say I am lucky enough to have my mom here helping me with my baby.

Nelwil - how rude of you to insinuate such nasty things.
You say you are a mother yourself - well then you should know, being at home with the baby is a precious but also can be lonely.
What is wrong with her wanting to make friends with other mums and babies that her child can grow up with'?!

Thank you for supporting me in this. I explained to Nelwil that I just wanted my baby to mix with other babies and make friends and she got me totally wrong. I was so offended with her comments of me being RICH etc when she hasn't a clue about me that I replied and explained what I meant. I am a full time mum myself and I love being with my baby. Time is so precious and I spend every minute with him. I guess she did not understand & may never understand.

You're welcome .... I'm a mom that gave up work to be with my kids. I know first hand how precious every moment with them is but also how they and I need to mix with others for our own goods.
Yes there are some people that let their helpers raise their kids, but it doesn't mean everyone is like that... Even if they have loads of money.
I have a 19 month old girl and 10 week old boy... Happy to meet for play date if you want but I am moving from Pok Fu Lam to Clearwater Bay soon so not sure how easy it will be afterward.
