Self Publishing Vs Publishing...

Information needed
desperately. Looking next year to have a children's book published. Thepublication World is a business that is extremely complex and difficult to saythe least.

Looking at thefeasibility of self-publication with a company called "Xlibris, author
solutions" has anyone done any business with them or published a book with
them?
Trying to find thebest way to proceed. If anyone has been down this path before and has anyinformation that might be useful, I would be grateful.

I have not signedwith the self-publication company as yet, so if anyone has a better solution or
self-publication company they could recommend will be externally grateful.
