I don't know if this is any use to you. I cannot possible come to Tsing Yi and I only have one hour spare and it is Sunday morning at 9. I live in Mid-levels. My charge is 900 per hour.
I do have a great deal of experience: over 20 years. I am very exacting and work hard to make sure my students speak perfectly. In fact, I am quite horrified by how badly many English people speak nowadays and I believe the language should be spoken with a beautiful accent, precise pronunciation, and mellifluous tone.
I am sorry that I cannot come out to Tsing Yi but I am far too busy.
My number is 9672 4941 and my name is Miss Fiona Beswick. You can whatsapp me at this number or email at beswick.fiona@gmail.com.

I can help you, and your timing is good. Here is an ad I wrote for another site, giving some of my background and the "special offer" I'm running until the end of this month:
Do you feel embarrassed sometimes because your English isn't as good as it should be? Perhaps your child needs to take a standardized test like the SSAT, SAT, TOEFL or TOEIC? Thinking about getting an MBA to stay competitive in a world where "everyone" has a college degree, but fearful of the GMAT test? Maybe you run a company and your staff can't write clear emails, or they churn out reports that fail to achieve their goals. Perhaps you are concerned that your youngster is not doing well in English class at school. Maybe you always use "who" because you have no idea how to know whether it should be "who" or "whom." Or maybe you just lack confidence that your accent and pronunciation are correct, and worry about the impression you give others when speaking in English.
Whatever difficulties you (or your child or even your employees) are having with English, I can help. I have more than twenty years of experience teaching English to both native and non-native speakers. I teach presentation skills to senior executives from major banks and corporations like Pepsi-Cola, helping them close multi-million-dollar deals. I also help young kids in school do better. You probably see one of my students regularly presenting the evening news on TVB. Another of my students won a full scholarship to medical school, and paid virtually nothing to become a high-earning doctor. I helped one young lady get into DGS after she failed her first interview there, and helped another raise her SAT verbal score from the low 400s to over 700, helping her get into her dream school, Stanford. I've taught English to a Saudi Prince, and I even taught a young lady who became runner-up in the Miss Hong Kong pageant.
I know standardized tests, and how to pass them -and I can help you ace them, too. I've scored in the 99th percentile on every such test I've ever taken. I was the fourth person in the history of the Nelson-Denny Test of Reading Ability to “invalidate” the test by finishing it on time and with a perfect score, something the test is designed to make “impossible”. Except for a mis-pronunciation by the pronouncer (I correctly spelled what she said, “immerge”, when she meant to say “emerge”), I would have competed as one of 100 finalists in the National Spelling Bee in Washington, D.C. I did make it to the final round of only five competitors in Impromptu and Extemporaneous Speaking comptetition, for the entire Southwestern USA (from Texas to California, inclusive). I worked with the Kaplan organization for almost 9 years, and with The Princeton Review for 4 years. I have done professional copywriting and proofreading for a Los Angeles-based publisher. She said she sent me her toughest authors because they would accept only my suggestions as correct, but would challenge other proofreaders. I started out as a teaching assistant at the Claremont Colleges in California, where I was trained in TEFL/TOEFL, and in various methods of foreign-language learning, including the Dartmouth method.
Why should you care what I have done? You shouldn't, except that it means that I can help YOU (or your child or employee) to pass that test, win that speaking contest, get into that school, etc... Unlike most tutors in Hong Kong whose main qualification is just that they can “speak English”, I really KNOW this stuff, and how to explain it so that you (or your child) can learn and remember it easily.
I know how difficult it can be to learn a second language, and know ways that I can show you or your child, that make it a lot easier. As a teenager, I used just one of these methods to memorize over 8,000 words of German –an entire pocket dictionary!-- in just one summer vacation. Many years later, I still remember nearly all of those words. I'll teach you that exact method of learning, if you want me to. Such techniques can change a person's whole life, They certainly changed mine!
If you or your child struggle even to ask the questions you need to ask in English, don't worry. Although I'm a born-and-raised American (a “white guy”), I've lived in Hong Kong for many years, am married to a wonderful local lady, and happen to speak fluent Cantonese (and a few other languages). I like to use English as a teaching medium, but when necessary, I can cut through the language barriers and explain things clearly in Chinese, to make it even easier for my students (hopefully soon to include YOU!) to learn more quickly.
NEW YEAR SPECIAL DISCOUNT TIME! I've decided to make a special, one-time-only offer in celebration of the Chinese New Year. I normally get paid $800/hour for private tuition, and a minimum of $1,000/hour for corporate work. BUT you won't have to pay nearly that much, if you act quickly enough. Sign up and pay by the end of this month, February 2015, and I'll slash my usual rates for you. Pre-pay for at least ten lessons of at least 1-1/2 hours each (minimum 15 hours instruction) by the end of this month, and I'll lower my rate to just $500/hour for general English tutoring, including SAT, TOEFL, etc... (For GMAT and corporate bookings, contact me and we'll work out a discount rate, depending on your needs.) What's more, I'll hold that rate unchanged for you, for at least one entire year. I actually plan top raise my rates in a few months, but that won't affect you at all, if you sign up now. Book even more hours (say, ten lessons of 2 or more hours each) and I'll throw in some extra discounts in the form of a free lesson here and there, and other free bonuses.
I can't afford to be this generous for too many people and give up too many hours. I need to save some time for a book I'm writing on English grammar for test-takers, so I've decided to keep this offer open ONLY for the first five people to sign up. SO ACT NOW, to save some money and get the best-quality help with your English language needs. Let me help your child get better grades, pass that test, and get into that school. Contact me about getting that report or presentation right at work, to just to improve the tone of your email communications. Whatever your English communication needs are, just give me chance to help you. Act quicly enough, and you'll save money, too. I promise you'll be very glad you did! All you need to do is send me a WhatApp or message or call me (Richard at 6055-6566 in Hong Kong) today. I'm waiting to hear from you, and to help you!
