Does anyone have any information on working for Synergy Education? Positive or Negative.

Good things:
They accept everyone (debatable if that's good though because some of the substitute teachers are quite strange)
They are able to be contacted quickly, day or night
They do provide connections with some top-notch schools, though I'm not sure of their whole spectrum
if you do some temp work, the materials are provided
bad things:
the communication between the staff to the teachers is horrid. Don't trust a single staff to take care of an issue effectively. I've received different answers or had requests for necessary documents promised then forgotten on multiple occasions.
They are not very concerned about maintaining legal practices, such as providing money for MPF, despite it being mandatory. They have asked me to sign a blank document that they later fill in. They provide ZERO sick days and the pay they deduct from your salary is often higher than agreed on the contract. DO check your deposit amount each month if you work for them
Employee turnover for the agency staff is extremely high. I've had to contact 3 staff members before to resolve one issue before simply because the other two had quit since the last time I contacted them.
NO job security: I've had two coworkers at my school fired suddenly and without warning, though one of the issues was relevant, it's quite daunting to realize that you could suddenly be terminated without any sort of compensation. I do believe they'll pay you work what you have worked within that month already though, just check their calculations.
In general, I love my school, but I try to interact with Synergy as little as possible since each time seems to end in frustration.

Thanks for your reply,
I have been working for them for some time now and find your response quite accurate. I have managed to work well with one person. The materials provided are sometimes inadequate and lack proper instructions so I just improvise. I also can not get any real academic objectives, just play / fun activities. But I am not working full time just contract work. I have a great CV so schools are reluctant to consider me due to my 30 years of teaching. I think they may think I would want to come in and take over..LOL... I am retired and just want to teach part time and enjoy teaching... But I would like to have a permanent part time 2-3 days per week job...
Oh... Schools won't hire me in a permanent position because I am 60... LOL
Again Thanks
