Hi,
I'm looking for a Cantonese tutor for my 6-year-old son. It would be twice a week and would prefer lessons at our place, close to sai kung.
If anyone can recommend a tutor they have used, it would be much appreciated. Not averse to students wanting pocket money, as long as they can connect with our boy (who's bright and polite) and bring him up to speed with his school lessons in spoken and written cantonese.

This is Jennifer and I am a trilingual speaker, native in Cantonese and fluent in English and Mandarin. I was a journalism students and received anchor training in pronuncation when I was in college. I used to teach young british kids cantonese, and gave pretty much tutorial lessons to kids of all ages on subjects such as Cantonese, Mandarin, English, Math and Computer Applications. Usually I don't work with text books, but rather with some story books/ movies/ anything that can interest my students, as I always believe that the key to successful teaching/ learning is to make your student fall in love with what they need to learn, so they would motivate themselves to keep learning.
