My son has been accepted into both the French and Kellet and i am inclined to send him to FIS.
However i am worried that his sister may not be accepted into the French school the year after if she fails the interview.
if i go for Kellet she is virtually guarenteed to go to Kellet.
Has anyone had or heard of anyone haveing this type of problem?
And what are peoples experience on the fundemental differences between the two schools?
Thanks

Kellet is much better than FIS unless you are French, especially the primary school.
Just curious, how old is your son? and do u have debenture? Kellet has long long waiting list. And that's the only school doesn't require interview - so it's purely about waiting list.
FIS has a smoking area for teachers and students to share:)

my son is 4 starts in August..i have decided to go for Kellett. We put him down at birth for the school and have hd to buy a individual debenture 80K HK$.
Virtually guarenteed sibling priority as well.
We took a school tour a couple of weeks ago and was very impressed withthe campus and the general all around feel of the school.

Hi Poppydog I have done the same registered my child since birth for both schools - does this mean likely to get in?
since you got accepted in both FIS and Kellet and now need to pay the individual debenture?

Yes we have accepted a place at kellet..on acceptance you have to purchase and individual debenture for HK$80,000 this is fully depreciating over 7 years.
From 2012 the price is going up to HK$100,000.
The French is HK$60,000 and doesnt need to be paid immediatelty.
If you have your name down from birth the l think your chances of getting a spot are quiet good.French is an assesment school.
