I have a question, my 4yr daughter is learning Traditional mandarin at her kindy and next year will move to an international school where she will learn simplied chinese.

Is this going to be a problem for her when she starts at the international school next Sept?

Neither me nor my husband are chinese and thankfully have another daughter who is doing very well with mandarin at an IB international school and is able to help with her homework. I am so keen for both my children to do well in mandarin.

maz27 - Where do your kids go to school? SIS, CIS? Given you are not Chinese, do you have tutors to help you kids with their Chinese homework?

My 4yr old goes to DMK and older one goes to Discovery College. The youngest one has 2 extra hours a week tuiton in a group of 4 children and am looking into getting one for the older one although she is doing very well at the moment with it by herself.
