under 6 mths babies in Belchers

Hi,

Wondering if there are any other moms in The Belchers/ Pokfulam/ Kennedy Town that would be interested in getting together? My baby is 2 mths old. I thought it would be nice to get out a bit more and swap stories with other moms. Please message me if interested!

I saw your message and I know that it was posted a little while ago, but I 'm moving to The Belchers this week with my 5 and half month old.


I'd love to know what you think of it there, and what sort of things you do with your baby!Do you know of any good baby groups etc?

I really like it here- there's decent grocery shopping at the wellcome in westwood mall, lots of little shops in kennedy town and two good choices of transport areas- from kennedy town side or Pokfulam road side. I've recently started taking my baby in her stroller on the bus (handicapped buses) and it's really convenient to get to Central, Wanchai Causeway Bay- no more taxis or baby bjorn for me. There is a baby outdoor swimming pool that's heated year round (not sure about indoor pool as I never use it). There's an enclosed garden around the pool area that nice for some fresh air as well as a public park about 10 minutes walk from here. There is an indoor playroom that supposed to be nice, but it's under renovation until the end of July. I still haven't found any baby or mother groups in the area, just people that I meet one on one. (There is a group that meets at the Starbucks every Thursday at Cyberport, but it's not convenient for me to get out there.) However, there seem to be a lot of babies, kids, amahs and mothers that gather in the garden area around 4-5pm, so that might be a good way of getting to know other babies/ people.
