We had good experience with Melinda Sturgess. Her office is at Unit 1202, Chincachem Hollywood Centre on Hollywood Road.

Our son was assessed a year behind at age 4. He just entered ESF Y1 in August and is doing quite ok in terms of expressive language. We saw Sarah Green on Hollywood Road, she was very helpful. She works with a lot of ESF students, primary and secondary.

Seems a but young to go to Speech Therapy (assuming it is nothing medical). I suspect he will grow out of it.

Tottototto. There may not actually be a problem. The kid is taking in a lot of info and it is just being processed (are you sure it's not just the Dutch way of pronouncing the 'S' that has led teachers to think it is a lazy tongue? My youngest daughter has no native tongue - she has heard English (fluent from me and pidgin from our maid), Cantonese and Mandarin since she was very small. She is now 11 and can speak all three fluently though she sometimes mixes up her English prepositions and her Cantonese has a slight Mandarin lilt.

But if there is a problem, it helps to intervene early. I got a bunch of helpful tips, he's not going on a weekly basis, but I could share the knowledge with the school and it helps them supporting him. An asssessment is not a big deal. My son was not saying much by age 3, that should be a red flag, at least something to look into. He's doing fine, still not there but improving.
She's in Kinwick Centre on 32 Hollywood Road. I can't find her phone number, it has been more than a year. Let me search.

I posted it but they removed as I am not allowed to post off the site with links or in this message.
First time on a forum where you cannot post a helpful link, but anyway got multiple runtime errors trying to send a message as well. Hope this works.
Found 25457767 if you google her name + speech therapist.

My son also went to Sarah, and she was fantastic. Teachers see so many kids, so they generally have a good instinct if there is an issue. I am sure the ST will assess your child first and give you some guidance. And I cannot stress enough that early intervention is the best thing you can do. My son started ST at age 3.
