Hello!
My hubby and I are moving to HK from Sydney. We are wondering if dads are welcome at 'mothersgroup' and playgroups as I will be the one working while he tries out a new role as a stay at home dad.

Whouah, lucky he is, but what a responsability...yes, of course, you have plenty of playgroups were parents stay in, and fathers are much welcomed. At Wisecreative in Causeway Bay, just fr yr information, the Centre director is a father of 2...and seems he enjoys a lot this status! may be you have heard about....

I know that Busy Bees School welcomes and has one or two stay at home Dads already.
Let me know if you'd like more info on the playgroup details.

Hong Kong Dads
Its a casual group of dads that meets up every week at playgrounds etc. for playgroups. There is at least one dad from Sydney in the group.

Both the USRC and the YMCA (opening again in September) have dads regularly visiting. They are both drop-in centres so you only go and pay when you go there.
USRC - Tues/Fri - 9.30-11.30 - $60
YMCA - Mon/Thurs - 10.15-12.15 - $45
