Mother of 2 in need of coffee!! Also in need of people to drink coffee with!!
Hi. I have a 3yo girl and a 1yo boy, moved to HK from Aust a few months ago, am living in the mid-levels and am looking for other mothers interested in getting together to have a chat and consume caffinated beverages, or non-caffinated beverages....not fussy really!

The flying pan in wanchai is not too bad. Cnr Luard & Lockhart on the 3rd floor. They have a great breakfast menu too!

2pm any day this week is fine with me! Next week we'll be away on a short break. They have good coffee - not sure about cake, but they have other nicies like waffles and stuff! There is a part with couches etc and there are board games for bigger kids. Enough space for small ones to play, just bring a toy. My daughter is 7 months and I will be bringing her. Tulipe, of course you're welcome!

Oh no! That's OK. Poor thing - hope he's feeling better soon. I know - I was down yesterday with the sneezes and a runny nose. OK so far will see how the day pans out. We go to that playground most mornings - normally at around 8am though (before it gets sunny on the swings!) so guess that this might be a bit early for you?
Are people on this thread up for meeting again this Friday for coffee? What about meeting up at Pacific Coffee again - someone suggested meeting up at a park instead but I am wondering whether it will be too hot to be in the sun around lunchtime.

I'm good with Pacific Coffee..and I'm sure Mila will be happy with another brownie! Does the same time (1.30pm) suit everyone? We would be happy with a little later like 2ish - Mila only gets home from school at 12.30 so it's a bit challenging to get her in and fed and down there in an hour!

We just got back from Thailand last night. Had a lovely time although got a bit burnt. Cant make it for a coffee this week which is a shame as the group seems to have quadrupled in size. Amazing how tempting cake can be. Hope to see you guys next week.

We will def be there. Just to clarify are you meeting at the PC on Hollywood road in central? If so, is there an easier route into central from mid levels. My hubby and I went in on our first day and the stairs nearly killed us.We followed the mid level esc.down.

Mmmm I see what you mean. Are you looking for a more straight forward route for a pushchair? If so an easier, but longer way, would be to get to Robinson Road, then walk down onto Seymour, then Castle Road and onto Caine Road. Right at Old Bailey Street and then right at the bottom onto Hollywood. There are are virtually no steps apart from on Old Bailey and I usually go half way down on the road and then cross over to the left hand side pavement. I hope that helps a little!!

Could meet at the park or if you want to get the tram ($22 one way or $33rtn) we could meet at the Zoologial garden near the jaguar. There is a mini bus that leaves from central IFC which is only $8.00.
