My kid's school have a local/bilingual and an english class. in the local/bilingual class it's upto K3 but the english class upto K2 only and they have to transfer.
My kid is in K2 bilingual class, we were advise by the principal to transfer my kid to their other branch which is an international school also for her K3 since we were planning to enroll my kid in KJS for her primary, because according to the principal the K3 there in other branch school is a preparation for the primary in international school.
She mentioned that the student in english class from where my kid is studying, who pass the KJS school will be in a K3 class not in primary 1.
I'm a little bit confused, because if you ask some parents who will let their kids go to KJS they will say that their kid will be in primary.
Hope someone enlighten me with this.

Sounds confused to me too!
KJS, like all ESF primary schools, runs from P1-P6 only. The kids starting this August in Year 1 will be the ones born in 2005, the kids starting in August 2011 will be those born in 2006 and so on.
If this other child has already been accepted by ESF this year (the application process started in September last year) they will be starting P1 in August. The applications for 2011 will begin in September this year.
ESF does run its own kindies but they are totally separate from the primary schools.
Hope this helps. The ESF website has all the admissions info too:
