Hello
My daughter (year 7) has been offered a place at Renaissance College. She is British. Does anyone have any kids who go there and are there many western kids attending? I've heard that it is predominantly Chinese. I'd love to hear any information on the School and whether it has a good reputation.
Thanks

I think it is fair to say that there is a definite majority of local Chinese, Cantonese speakers. There are, however, children of many nationalities attending. If you visit the school you can see the 'mix' for yourself.

There are an increasing number of Western children at the school- and many of the "local" children are returnees from UK, Canada, Australia and elsewhere. It is no different in its mix to other international schools; if anything I would say it has more Western children than say, Shatin Junior School, due to the overflow from Sai Kung as Clearwater Bay is over-subscribed. The school has great facilities- my child is very happy there.

Well I am in Renaissance collage and I have a friend in year 3, her and I love it! It really sets students up for IB and prepares them. I tried Sha Tin college but found that RCHK was so much better. If she has been offered a place take it before they give it to someone else! :)
