I am a local single mother, my child has the above problems, found very difficult to study those Chinese uninteresting subjects and he needs to handle tons of homework here in Hong Kong, my son enjoys reading English books and science projects, but he needs much help to complete his classwork.
I really hope that he can learn happily and graduate to complete his University successfully.
can anyone give me advice? * I want to try to let him study at other countries like Australia or Canada, Chime in.

sorry to break it to you, but if you plan on making your child complete university in Hong Kong, you are going to have a VERY hard time. the 'Chinese uninteresting subjects' will just get worse and the HKDSE will just make your child's condition deteriorate. Most kids, even with superior intellects can't get into any good universities here in HK. What i'd recommend is switching schools and also switching curriculum OR send him to Canada or America( wouldn't recommend Australia, tough place for a child with minor add and lower IQ than normal especially if he cant stand up for himself.) one thing is for sure, he will never be able to learn happily if you're following the local curriculum, so best make plans and take action now or it'll be too late. Either way, i wish you and your child the best of luck.
(based in Hk, local student completing university after loong, unmeaningful years spent studying the local things with no room for part time jobs so totally unprepared for job market and spoonfed by local schools.)

my aunt's child aged 15 also got the same diagnosis. He presents himself happier and his teachers also reports his progress at class after receiving 6 months therapy.
when there is a will, there is a way. please don't give up.

I don't see a problem with Australian education at all for this sort of situation. I have plenty of mates who had the above issues you listed and even some family members. All of the colleges/schools they attended provided special consideration for those with learning disabilities. As a matter of fact most if not all schools in aus provide students with some form of learning enrichment program if they are having difficulties.
Family member suffered learning difficulties as a side effect of radiation treatment as a child. Now has a diploma in graphic design and is finishing up a double degree in business and commerce.
