Just moved to HK, and been internet searching for full-time creche/nursery by native english speaking carers/teachers. Just can't find any. All seem to be just playgroups and activity classes. Anyone has any info?

hmmm. that was the feeling I was getting. I am going to get a full time domestic help, of course. But thought it would be good to have my child to be exposed to other kids everyday. Also, being fulltime mum for 1 year while I was on leave, found impossible to do everything while the child is here. So can't imagine how domestic help can. But then, I guess they are professional. Thank you for your reply.
Any idea for English speaking nanny?? (part time)

I see. Not very easy as I thought. Thank you. I saw some baby sitters advertised. I presume that't not illegal. So I may go for that option, until I find a full time maid.

Cara just seeing this post again, could you post here what are the expensive options for the creche / nursery and where are they located? Are they any good? I don't want a helper but rather a 1-2 x a week half day daycare once my girl turns 13-14 months.

Friends of mine has a helper whom they also pay for a shared house in their village with other helpers. So a foreign full-time help who doesn't need to live in the house. If the shared house is reasonably priced it's a good option. They live in Sai Kung.
I've been thinking of this option, being raised in Australia I'm really struggling with it.
