I understand that having a live-out helper is now considered illegal. Some questions:
1. What is the reasoning behind this? Why would the government care? It seems so silly--if I compensate the employee, what's the big deal?
2. How is this enforced? What if you hire a live-out helper, and she "gets caught?" What is the penalty?
