Anyone know of any potential difficulties in moving to Shanghai with our Filipino helper who has been with us for 3 years?

This will be a miracle if you can take yr helper with you to China as they have so much domestic labour supply there already. Wonder if you need to do something under the table. Good luck though.

I know a few people who took their helper to SH or hire one from the phillipinnes. The easist way is ask your shanghai employer to hire the helper for you and pay the cost by yourself. But local shanghainese helper are much more cheaper. Cost only one third to one half.
