Could someone clarify the difference between annual leave and vacation leave? If I'm reading the info from the labour department correctly, after one year of service, an FDH is allowed 7 days of paid annual leave and another 7 days (paid or unpaid) of vacation leave ... for a total of 14 days leave (not including stat holidays)?? Or is vacation leave granted only at the end of the two-year contract?
