Anyone can recommend a medical check up including pregnancy test for my helper. Just renewed contract, she's going home for a couple of weeks. Need to do a medical upon her return to HK. Thanks!

Maybe check with your Gyn see if they have a package for DH. I sent mine to my Gyn, their package for DH is 1.2K and the result came back in 2 days( Blood test, Hep B, HIV, Pregnancy, Urine test etc. Pay extra $200 if you need the Lung X-ray ). I also heard about the one in Wanchai..think the cost is $8xx and the tests are pretty much the same to my Gyn. But I know my Gyn well so I just had mine done with him.

there's nothing you can do (besides lightening her work load) if it comes back positive

I can't see how my helper can be pregnant AND do all that is required in my household. Before arriving for her new contract, my helper had a pregnancy test done. All HK agencies includes this before the helper arrives.
What CAN you do if your helper goes home, and comes back pregnant? Can you ask her to go home?

Thank big you to 'bigmama' for commenting that the ob/gyn can do the medical tests. We are new to HK and this whole processes and at a loss of where to go that is thorough and reliable for the medical testing.
Our Gyn will do all the tests for contagious diseases like Hep B, HIV, etc + preg test (not contagious as far as I know). Cost was 1.2K for no lung x-ray, 1.4K with lung xray.
