I've had friends who put their DH up at shared quarters (maybe boarding houses as described in another thread?) while working on a FT DH contract. It certainly sounds like a good idea as we would be able to use the helper's room for storage.

Is this allowed? If so, how do I go about doing it? Do I need to state it in the contract?

We already have a helper staying with us, but are just exploring ways to get more usable space in the flat without having to move.
