We will renew our DH's contract soon.
Should I raise her salary ? She gets 4500hkd now and we often give her little bonuses when we are happy (300hkd).
Now we have 2 kids and a bigger flat, so she's working harder for sure.
Any recommendation ? What would be appropriate ?

I have done it in two ways:
1) End of first contract- I offered her 1 month bonus. I asked her whether she wanted it spread out over the next contract, or just one lump sum.
2) End of first contract- I raised $ 150 a month .It's about 5% which I think is fair enough.
3) End of second contract- 1 month bonus, 1 trip home on top of the contract inclusive one, and a $ 200 monthly raise.
However, I think 4500 is already too high. Be careful how high you offer, leave room for next contract if you ever plan to renew. Also, past experience tells me if a DH gets up to close to $ 5000 HKD a month, be careful they get "spoiled" and expects a lot more.

I think that the fact you are happy to renew her contact means you are happy with your DH so a raise of some kind would be an appropriate way to show her she’s done good. It doesn't need to be a huge amount just something to show you appreciate her extra work she’s had to do since your move and extra child came along and then it leaves you open for extras at times when you want to do it.
I don't think anyone can claim that 4500 a month for the hours and hard work a DH generally does is too high it's just not min wage.
Maybe consider what you are happy to pay her and pay a little less so you can reward as you have been doing for good work and loyalty.
