Medical tests in the Philippines

Any help appreciated here.

We have hired a helper via an agency. The medical was conducted in the Philippines and has highlighted the helper has some type of tracking eye problem in her right eye.

The agency has now contacted us to tell us that this has happened which is good, but we now must sign a waiver, clearing them of any responsibility, to get her processed through Immigration.

I do not fel comfortable with signing this waiver. We do like the helper and we feel that she would work well with us, but I am concerned.

Should we just sign and suck it all up if there are problems? Will we be covered insurance wise if there is a problem knowing we have this information?

Many thanks

Scott

If I were you, I would not consider the maid any more. The insurance doesn't cover any pre-existing disease or sickness. Hire another one!

I would ask an eye doctor to see if all the poor thing needed was a pair of glasses!

If everyone was excluded from employment for eye problems, then I think that Asia would be a sea of unemployment! I think you need more information
