DH is going back to the Philippines for holidays. She indicates she wants to get her wisdom teeth fixed while she's there and asked if I would reimburse her. Since it's my first time having a helper, I have no clue. Does anyone know what's the answer?
thanks!@

Domestic helper Insurance is compulsory.
Medical and dental expenses are often covered but within Hong Kong. Dental expenses should be as a result of dental disease.

On the other hand, wisdom teeth can actually cause lots of health / dental problems, so it may be in your interests as well as hers to pay for this, so long as the cost is not too high. Depending on the situation, wisdom teeth can actually get infected and the infection can spread to earache, fever etc meaning the person could be laid up in bed unable to work. Much better to fix the problem at this convenient time, than have it become an issue at an inconvenient time.
