need advise on hiring two domestic helpers

Have a domestic helper currently whom I am not thrilled about. 2 months away from baby #2 arriving and I plan to get back to work. Contemplating getting a second helper to focus on kids, and/or potentially get rid of the first and replace.

Questions:

1. Is it hard w/immigration to justify the need for two helpers? Any specific process to be followed or same as any other helper?

2. Selfishly, given that I am 7 months into my pregnancy I want to hire 2nd helper and then let the other one go, with all compensation etc awarded. Would that raise any eyebrows w/immigration? Is it even permissible? Can I hire the 2nd helper and then terminate the first or is that just not kosher legally?

Haven't made up my mind. Current helper has alot of positive qualities, but am struggling on the childcare front which eventually will be my biggest need. She has had some lapses in judgement with my son that is playing on me.

You can state for "replacement" in the application form. If you hire and process through an agent, the agent will give advice.

Just to add to what Cara says, you need to have the financial means. If memory serves you need a household income of at least 15k/month per helper.

Hiring one and then firing the other is perfectly legal.
