We are expecting our first child in Sept and would like to hire a domestic helper. Have been told that agencies are the most reliable method to finding a reliable DH....any recommendations on good agencies?? Looking for a DH who has experience with young babies within expat homes! Would appreciate any advice.

Agencies are not the best way to find a helper. All they will do is look through their limited files of helpers they have available and try to send the most appropriate helpers to you for interviews. If you hire one of them they will hit you for substantial fees for doing little more than looking through files and asking the helpers to meet you.
Save time and money by checking out our helpers database - we have almost 500 new helpers list with us each month (thats far more than any agency will have on its books) and almost all of the helpers have photos and reference letters with their ad + other skills and biodata.
You can use your own judgment rather than that of agency to interview the most suitable helpers. Once you decide to hire, then you can download the very simple immigration contract from our site and have your new helper register it with immigration.
And by the way, this is all free.

Visited one of the larger DH agencies in HK on the back of a recommendation from friend....they must have provided us with around 100 records of available DH mainly from Indonesia and Phillipines. Quite a strange experience and did not find what we were hoping for...will continue our search for a suitable DH!

you may reject my recommendation as you may prefer DH from agency, but its worth trying. can i recommend a very close friend, (childhood friend )college graduate, trustworty and baby experienced. feel free to ask anything and willing to set an interview. by the way i am not DH i just want to help my friend.
