Termination within a month

I have read somewhere that if you terminate your DH within the first month of employment (ie start Visa on 23rd June - terminate before 23rd July), you can do so without giving a month's notice or paying return plane fare back to home country. Does anyone know if this is correct?

Doubtful. You've undertaken an obligation to 'sponsor' this persons employment. I'd be surprised if you weren't responsible for ensuring they can leave the country.

Check out the immigration website.

You have to ensure airfare back and one month's salary. That is the law. I fired one of mine after 8 days, and the requirement is very clear and immigration dept will ensure you pay.

TRUE, but .. c'mon , a plane ticket and one month's salary is morally correct
