Can DH go home between visas?

Our new DH's visa will be ready in the beginning of August. Her contract with her previous employer ends early next week. Can she go home for the weeks in between....i.e. can she travel back home next week and get back into HK for the start date of her next visa in August? It would give her the opportunity for her vacation from her last employer.

Hmmm, thought the only time a DH is required to go home is if their contract was terminated...i.e. not completed.


I hope she is in fact allowed to go....especially between the old and new employment visas.
