I had one made to measure at the Steel Bed Company in Wanchai (Queens Road East) about 4 years ago, our helper says it's very comfortable.

I have purchased beds from Jade Rattan. They have stores in various places in Kowloon and HK island. I went to North Point but they have Wan Chai too. Recently, I bought the single bed with 5 drawers for my DH to put her things in without having to get an extra dresser in her small room. It's quite reasonable too.

pretty much any of the cheap furniture shops around HK (excluding the Central-C/way Bay area) can make a bed and mattress to measure.
